4.6 Inspection equipment. The inspection equipment for conducting tests shall be as specified in the applicable test methods and procedures paragraphs.
4.7 Test methods and procedures.
4.7.1 Test conditions. Unless otherwise specified herein, the following conditions shall be used as a basis to establish performance requirements.

4.7.2 Test sequence. Testing sequence within each classification of inspection
(first article or acceptance) shall be at the option of the supplier.
4.7.3 Test specimen preparation. The frozen premix compound shall be allowed to thaw at room temperature of not less than 18°C and not greater than 38°C, prior to application. The compound, after application or in its original container as specified, shall be cured with one of the following cure cycles:
(a) Not less than 48 hours at 27 ± 3°C (b) Not less than 2 hours at 74 ± 3°C
4.7.4 Tests.
4.7.4.1 Composition and condition in container. The composition shall be certified by the contractor and the condition in container shall be examined visually to establish compliance to 3.2.1.
4.7.4.2 Pot life. A syringe of material shall be allowed to thaw to 24 ± 3°C. The material shall remain uncured and injectable for the pot life specified in 3.2.2.
4.7.4.3 Viscosity. The material shall be allowed to thaw to 24 ± 3°C. The viscosity shall then be determined in not less than five minutes or greater than 10 minutes after reaching the test temperature in accordance with ASTM D 1084 with the following exception: an LVF Brookfield viscometer or equal shall be used, operating as specified below.
